ObeliskDesigned especially to meet a client's decor and to suit a smaller room, the Obelisk combines evenly distributed high frequency sound, through a full 360degrees, with Celtic's proprietary processing to bring smoother cleaner low frequencies than most, much larger systems. Standing only approximately 80cms high, the Obelisk can be placed on coffee tables, on either side of the fire or TV set. Like all Celtic speakers, they are magnetically shielded and will create no disturbance to TV sets or Computer VDU's. A smooth acoustic response from 28Hz to over 20KHz brings an uncanny degree of realism to the sound, be it music or voice. Careful attention to phase and timing accuracy only made possible by our active processing coupled with the omni-directional radiation of higher frequencies brings the performers into your room and allows you the freedom to hear the same clear reproduction wherever you choose to sit (or stand!) Power Amplifiers are included in the enclosure, all that is needed is a balanced or unbalanced feeds from your pre-amplifier. Careful attention to circuit design, including the power supply reduces noise to silence at any listening level. The Obelisk can be used for stereo enjoyment or for surround sound. The accurate stereo image, coupled with extended low frequency performance mean that four speakers is all you need, provided of course your surround sound processor can deliver four channels as well as the conventional six.
